Intro: Documentaries about Artificial Intelligence AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a computer program that performs tasks usually requiring human intelligence. In other words, it's a machine that can think, learn, reason, and make decisions like a human. The word "artificial" refers to the fact that these programs are created by people instead of natural selection. Artificial intelligence has been around for some time now, but recently it's become more popular in the public eye. Today, AI is used in many different areas of society including finance, journalism, search engines and even driving cars.
Although it's difficult to predict the future, AI can change many aspects of our lives. For example, imagine being able to fly an airplane. With AI-powered systems that learn from data, this could happen in the near future. Another example is self-driving cars: they will be able to navigate their way through any obstacle and avoid accidents with 88% accuracy. A more realistic use of AI is in medicine: doctors are using artificial intelligence to review medical records and make better diagnoses than they would without the technology. Artificial intelligence has also been used to help people learn new skills like playing the piano or speaking a foreign language.
Artificial intelligence is getting a lot of hype. It seems like every other week, there's a new article being published explaining how artificial intelligence will change the world. But what exactly is it? And what can we expect from it in the future? These are questions that many people have been asking lately, which is why I've decided to create this list of documentaries that will explain what AI is and where it may be headed.
1. In the Age of AI - Documentaries about Artificial Intelligence AI
Artificial intelligence is changing life as we know it. The documentary examines how this technology is impacting our jobs, privacy, and a growing rivalry between the U.S. and China.
2. Artificial intelligence and algorithms: pros and cons - Documentaries about AI
This documentary journeys to the hot spots of AI research in Europe, the USA and China, and looks at some revolutionary developments which are currently taking place. The rapid growth of AI offers many opportunities but also many dangers. There's a huge problem: humans can no longer comprehend how algorithms arrive at their decisions because of artificial intelligence- it has become too complex for human comprehension! Another big problem is that an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based "social credit system" like Rongcheng's is already being used to monitor people living in China by using algorithmic decision making skills along with massive surveillance techniques-- which could be seen as yet another form of mass oppressions.
3. How artificial intelligence is changing our society - Documentaries about Artificial Intelligence
The rapid change in digitalization is explored by the film "AI" which examines breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and new horizons they have opened up. The focus of this documentary is to look at how AI can be used as a tool to spread fake news, discuss the ethical problems posed with autonomous weapons, and consider how technology will streamline work for humans.
4. Artificial intelligence and its ethics - Artificial Intelligence Documentary
Already today, chatbots, robots and digital assistants exist that can mimic certain human abilities. Scientists and AI experts agree that we are in a race against time: we need to establish ethical guidelines before technology catches up with us or else it will just be too late. While Jurgen Schmidhuber predicts machines will control robotic factories on the moon at some point, Max Tegmark warns of an all-seeing surveillance state if not enough rules are established early on from governments worldwide; Thomas Metzinger predicts Europe is positioned to play a pioneering role as the world transitions into more artificial intelligence because of its unique history.
5. Consciousness Artificial Intelligence - AI Documentary
Would artificial intelligence, if it could gain "true" consciousness and be aware of itself, see itself as a creature? What would the impact on our lives and world be like then?
6. The History of Artificial Intelligence - Documentaries on Artificial Intelligence AI
This film is about the history and origins of computing-based artificial intelligence. It covers a variety of subjects, such as human computer interaction in 1967, the architecture for creating deep learning on CPUs (central processing units) back in 1944, and so on.
7. AlphaGo:The Movie | Full award-winning documentary about Artificial Intelligence AI
In March 2016, the worlds of Go and AI met in South Korea for a historic best-of-five game competition dubbed The DeepMind Challenge Match. Hundreds of millions watched as an unproven AI took on one the greatest players in history, a legendary Go master - with both sides vying to win only their second ever five game match (one day before Google's AlphaGo beat Lee Sedol).
Directed by Greg Kohs and with an original score by Academy Award nominee Hauschka, AlphaGo had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. It has since gone on to win countless awards and near universal praise for a story that chronicles a journey from the halls of Oxford, through the backstreets of Bordeaux, past DeepMind in London (a coding terminal), to Seoul where it was then played in an epic seven-day tournament. As told as drama unfolds throughout this film which is about artificial intelligence's relation to Go - What can AI teach us?
Conclusions: Documentaries about Artificial Intelligence AI
Artificial intelligence is a new form of technology that will eventually be able to do anything a human can do, but better. It's still in its infant stages and we don't know what the future holds. But one thing is for certain, AI will change our lives in ways we never could have imagined. For now, these documentaries are education on AI and where it may be headed in the future.
